District 4 Umpire Jason Kelley Selected to Umpire 2012 Junior World Series in Michigan
Jason Kelley has been selected to umpire at the 2012 LLB Junior League World Series in Taylor, Michigan! Jason is very honored to be selected to umpire at this prestigious tournament, as this has been a life-long goal of his. Not only is this his first World Series, but being selected to be part of any World Series means you are added to the numerous names of past World Series umpires within Little League Baseball history. Jason is now added to the following list of Wisconsin District 4 World Series Umpires:
- Jeremy Kautza — 2006 Junior League World Series (Taylor, MI)
- Dave Thom — 2007 Little League World Series (Williamsport, PA)
- Rich Fronheiser — 2011 Senior League World Series (Bangor, ME)
- Rob Ruhle — 2011 Little League World Series (Williamsport, PA)
- Jason Kelley — 2012 Junior League World Series (Taylor, MI)
Two Other District 4 Umpires Selected to Work Regionals in 2012
Wisconsin District 4 Umpires Jeremy Kautza and Rich Fronheiser have been selected to work regional Little League baseball tournaments in 2012. Rich Fronheiser will work the Majors tournament in Indianapolis, IN from August 3-11, 2012 while Jeremy Kautza will work the Senior tournament in Peru, IL from August 3-8.
Both umpires have extensive Little League experience. Rich has worked the Senior World Series (2011) while Jeremy has worked the Junior World Series (2006). He is also the first umpire from District 4 to have been selected to work regional tournaments at all three age-levels played in Wisconsin (Majors, Juniors, and Seniors).
Congratulations to all these umpires on this fine accomplishment.
