2017 Baseball Clinics for Coaches & Players

Wednesday, March 22, 6:30 – 8:00 PM at the American Center — UW Annual Youth Baseball Coaching Clinic
Join UW Health Sports Medicine experts for the 7th annual free baseball coaches’ clinic, which will focus on developing various aspects of baseball performance for the youth Player.  This clinic is FREE and will be held at the American Center, 4602 Eastpark Blvd (Sports Performance Center).

Sunday, March 26, 10:00 AM – 1:30 PM at Edgewood High School —  Coaching Clinics (2)
This clinic is for coaches and will be divided into two sessions.  The first session will start at 10:00 AM and be tailored to first and second year coaches, especially Atlantic Lg coaches (7-8 year old league).  After this session, at approximately 11:30 AM, there will be a First Aid Clinic for ALL coaches to cover the basics of CPR and general first aid.  At NOON, the second clinic for more experienced coaches will begin.  These clinics will be hosted by Tom Young (WMLL).  Sam Huntington (former WMLL Board Member) will conduct the first aid review.  These clinics are FREE.

Thursday, March 30, 5:30 – 9:00 PM at Edgewood College — Al Brisack’s Coaching Clinic
This is a much more in-depth clinic for coaches.  Al Brisack is the head baseball coach at Edgewood College and runs an excellent clinic.  There is a fee for this clinic so be sure to register when you arrive and note that you are from WMLL.  Al will bill WMLL direct at a discounted rate. EdgewoodCollegeCoachingClinicInformationFlyer3-30-17.

Mon thru Thurs, June 12-15, at WMLL — Metro Baseball Camp for Players            
Tom Bennett, former Memorial Varsity Baseball Coach and current WMLL coach will conduct his annual Metro Baseball Camp on the WMLL fields.  There is a fee for this camp.  Check details and register at metrobaseballcamp.com.
