Subject: Baseball and girls softball at West Madison Little League are great spring/summer activities!

For anyone looking for a fun spring/summer activity for their child, I want to recommend baseball & girls softball at West Madison Little League. My son / daughter plays baseball / softball at WMLL & loves it!  WMLL has awesome playing fields, a family-friendly ballpark & a positive, supportive environment for players of all skill levels.

WMLL offers baseball leagues for boys & girls between the ages of 7 & 16 and softball leagues for girls between 7 & 17.  Games begin in late-April or early May and continue through July, typically with two games a week.  Practices usually start as soon as the weather permits in April.

The registration fee per player is $250 for baseball & $225 for softball, plus a small postgame snack prepayment.  WMLL offers scholarships to players eligible for free or reduced lunch at school & a discount to families with three or more kids playing at WMLL.  Players that register by March 1st are guaranteed a spot on a team.  After that date, players will be added to teams if space is available.  No one is ever cut at WMLL.

WMLL baseball is open to any boy or girl who lives or attends school in the Madison West, Madison Memorial or Middleton-Cross Plains high school attendance areas. For girls’ softball, there are no residency or school requirements.

I’d be happy to answer any questions that you might have about WMLL.  You can also learn more & register at WMLL’s website: www.wmll.org.

Thanks!
