Important info on player drop-off / pick-up zones & player seating

WMLL is expanding player drop-off & pick-up zones for the upcoming scrimmages.  As always, the WMLL parking lot may NOT be used to drop-off or pick-up players – for safety reasons & to keep spots open for coaches with heavy equipment bags.

NEW DROP-OFF & PICK-UP ZONES
There are two new player DROP-OFF zones – one for teams playing on the Minor Field & one for teams playing on the Major Field.  Teams on the Senior Field will continue to use the traditional drop-off zone near the batting cages. The traditional zone near the batting cages will also be used for ALL player pick-ups.

SQUAD GATHERING SPOTS
After being dropped off, players will gather (while maintaining physical distancing) with their squad & coach in a designated spot near the drop zone (shown on the attached image).  Squads will move as a group to the field before there scrimmage & back from the field after their scrimmage.

PLAYERS SHOULD BRING A CHAIR!
Players are strongly encouraged to bring a folding chair to sit on during the scrimmage – they will not be able to sit on the bench in the dugout & must stay at their designated player drop spot.

LASTLY, PLEASE REMEMBER THAT UNLESS YOU ARE AN OFFICIAL VOLUNTEER OR HAVE SPECIAL APPROVAL TO ATTEND, PARENTS & SPECTATORS ARE UNFORTUNATELY NOT ALLOWED AT SCRIMMAGES.  This is necessary to comply with Dane County requirements.
