WMLL Families,
The Madison West and Madison Memorial high school varsity softball teams will be facing off Thursday, May 19th, for their last regular season game. It is also their Youth Night, so a great chance for WMLL softball players to come on out!
The game will be held at the Jefferson Middle School fields (101 South Gammon Road just north of Memorial High School), with the first pitch thrown at 5:00. So it’s recommended to arrive in the 4:30-4:40 range, as some pre-game activities will start around 4:45. Here’s what you can expect…
– Wear blue/gold to support West or green/white to support Memorial
– Youth players can join either team on the field for the national anthem.
– Both schools will have some team posters available, with possible player signatures.
– WMLL softball players will receive a free treat.
Aside from the treat, drinks and food are “bring your own”, though some teams might like to coordinate a pizza or sub order.
Note that though there are bleachers, they aren’t big enough to accommodate everyone. So bringing chairs and a blanket is wise.
