End of Season!

The 2022 season has come to an end.  Thank you to all the coaches, volunteers, and players for a fun and memorable 2022 season.  Here are a few reminders

• Annual Meeting – The WMLL annual meeting will be held at 9:00 AM at Vitense Golfland on October 22nd.  Candidates for open board seats will be considered for new 3-year terms.
• Commemorative Brick Campaign – Take a look at our commemorative brick campaign and consider a donation to WMLL while getting a permanent brick installed on the Picnic Porch wall.  Click Here for more information.
• Lost & Found – Many lost items are in the lost & found.  Take a look at these photos (photo 1, photo 2) to see if anything you have lost might have been placed in the lost & found.  Some of the items in the photos have already been claimed but if you think something you lost is still in the lost and found please contact executive.director@wmll.org to coordinate a pick-up.
• Used Equipment – If you have any used baseball or softball equipment that you would like to donate to WMLL please contact executive.director@wmll.org to arrange a drop-off.  Used equipment sales occur twice a year and are a great way to pass along equipment that another family can use.  At this point the date of the next sale is TBD but will likely be in April 2023 around the start of the next season.
• Facilities Upgrades – Learn about all the upgrades that were completed throughout the 2022 year to help make WMLL a more enjoyable place to play and watch baseball and softball
  • • • • • Internet upgrade- ballpark wide coverage with great bandwidth to handle heavy usage
          • PA System replacement- New mixer, wiring, software, speakers, microphones, and tablets for all fields. They’re work amazing, easy to set up, easy to use, and the kids love it
          • Dug Out Roofs- new steel roofs on Major and Senior Fields
          • Scorer’s Table- new table is heavy duty and fits up to four people
          • Concessions Upgrades- new screen door and fans installed to improve airflow to make your concessions volunteering to feel like a breeze (sorry for the pun)
          • Paint refresh- Dugouts, parking lot, foul poles, foul lines, concessions, and bathrooms were all painted this summer.
          • Landscaping- Flowers blooming around the concessions area. Junipers in the warm up area we’re removed and replaced with mulch. Junipers near the Minor Field walking path were removed and we have plans to renovate that whole area, stay tuned!
